Sam Threadgold, born in 1996, is a British composer, producer, multi-instrumentalist and vocalist. He graduated form London College of Creative Media with a 1st class in 2017.
He started his journey learning guitar at the age of 10, and subsequently joined the JMSU Big Band aged only 14, whilst being trained in Jazz guitar by Swedish session musician Linus Olsson. During this time he was lead guitarist in function band 4play, whilst also singing, performing and writing songs for several local bands.
Having grown up close to Nice, France, he moved to London at the age of 18 to study performance and production at the LCCM, whilst also working as a function musician and guitar tutor alongside his studies. From thereon he joined rock band Echoic on Bass, touring extensively across the UK for the next 2 years, alongside session work with Best of Enemies and MK and the Misters. As Echoic came to an end, he continued touring the UK and Europe as a vocalist with pop band Chalk City.
Sam Threadgold currently performs with indie-pop outfit Morning Angle and is writing music with German alternative pop artist Noah Sonnen.
As a vocalist, he has written, sang, and co-produced several tracks with artists such as Ole Eb, Bröder, Nice7 and Leon, amassing several million streams in the last couple of years across all platforms.
He began composing and producing library music in 2021, self producing and also working collaboratively on several albums.
His work so far has featured on Kerrang! Radio, BBC Radio1, BBC introducing, The Tony Korneheiser Show, Magic FM, Rock FM and Radio X to name a few.
Sam Threadgold is an avid sports fan, and keenly follows Football from the National League to the Premier League, whilst also keeping up with his hometown club OGC Nice in French Ligue 1.
