Peredur ap Gwynedd is a guitarist and composer known for his work with the Drum & Bass / Rock phenomenon Pendulum. Hailing from Wales, Peredur ap Gwynedd’s musical journey began at an early age, influenced by a diverse range of genres including rock, metal and electronic music.

As a key member of Pendulum, Peredur ap Gwynedd contributes to the band’s distinctive sound, playing on all the band’s albums, blending heavy guitar riffs with high-energy drum and bass. He also has songwriting credits with the band, including on their No.1 album “Immersion”.  His guitar work is characterised by its technical prowess and dynamic intensity, which has become a signature element of Pendulum’s live performances.

Before joining Pendulum, Peredur ap Gwynedd was a gun for hire and his first break was playing guitar in Norman Cook’s band, Beats International. He then went on to record and tour with such notable artists as Natalie Imbruglia, Faithless, Sophie Ellis-Bextor, Tinie Tempah, Mylène Farmer and Anastacia.

Peredur ap Gwynedd also produces and composes music for television, over the last twenty five years, he has made music for BBC, ITV, Channel 4, S4C, Channel 5, Sky and many international TV and production companies.

Over the last six years he has produced music for many podcasts, including former number 1 sports podcast in the UK, Never Strays Far.

Lately he has composed the main ident and produced music for the podcast department of Mail Metro Media.

He has also written and produced music for many advertising campaigns including Dolce & Gabbana, Smirnoff, Rimmel and Veet, and composed library music for Extreme Music and Endemol.

As well as being a musician, Peredur ap Gwynedd is a cycling commentator and pundit for Welsh TV company S4C. He has worked on 11 Tour de France, 5 Giro d’Italia and one Vuelta a Espana.
