Alex’s journey into music began in the mid 1990s. Fascinated by the artistry and sounds of his favourite records, Alex studied technique, music theory and performance on a variety of instruments.
After learning to play, he began to record his performances playing in bands, gaining valuable recording experience. From single mic live takes and manual analog overdubbing to digital multi-tracking, Alex has explored every aspect of capturing sounds and performances, and his experience today allows him to utilise the full potential of modern recording technology.
