Mike Marino is a drummer/percussionist and composer based in Orlando, Florida. He currently works as a musician for The Walt Disney Company, helping to bring magic to its guests for more than 15 years now. During those last 15 years Mike has also been a performer for SeaWorld Orlando, SeaWorld San Antonio, Universal Studios Orlando, as well as dozens of conventions.

Mike’s background took root, due in large part, to being in high school drumline. From there he went on to be a part of the drumline at the collegiate level, and later a member of the Crossmen Drum & Bugle Corps. After spending years as a performing member of drumlines Mike spent the next 15 years teaching and writing/arranging for marching percussion, winning awards at the state and national level of competitions.

Upon joining the family of Disney musicians Mike Marino got an introduction to world percussion, getting a chance to learn from and perform with numerous highly skilled world percussionists. He tries to incorporate a lot of what he’s learned in the past to the music he writes today.

As a composer Mike Marino has had his music in roughly 200 television shows, numerous sporting events and corporate placements. His music can be heard on ABC, NBC Sports, CBS Sports, MTV, Discovery, Discovery ID, Bravo, CNBC, NFL Network, A&E, Golf Channel, and many more. His credits include shows like The Great Christmas Light Fight, Ink Master, Alone, Southern Charm, Catfish The TV Show, America’s Next Top Model, Intervention, and more.

Outside of production music Mike is also a demo composer/beta tester for sample library developers: Soundiron, Fluffy Audio, MIDIsonnance, Crypto Cipher, and Waverunner Audio. He also worked as a composer assistant to Colin O’Malley where he assisted in producing the following sample libraries for developer 8dio: Adagio Strings collection, Century Brass, and Century Strings.

When he’s not performing or writing music Mike enjoys fishing, watching college football, and spending time with friends and family.
