As one of Latin Music’s foremost percussionists, Dave Pattman has worked with many of the world’s top Latin artist’s including Buena Vista Social Club stars Ibrahim Ferrer, Cachaito Lopez and Omara Portuondo. Other stars such as Carlos ‘Patato’ Valdez, Daniel Ponce, Tito Gomez, Snowboy, Junior Gonzalez and many others have benefited from Dave’s talent.
On a broader musical front, some of Dave’s recording credits include Paul McCartney, Tindersticks, Slim Gaillard, Breathe, McAlmont, and film music for ‘ The Mummy Returns’ with The London Sinfonia and Claire Denis.
As a composer Dave has written over forty compositions featured on albums by Snowboy, Roger Beaujolais (another Music For Sport composer), Merengada and Alex Wilson. Dave also co-produced these last two artist’s albums.
Dave lived and worked in Cuba and the USA for a year or two (though is currently residing in London UK ), speaks fluent Spanish and can make you dance in your sleep.
