Stephen Gilchrist has worked as a musician and in the field of music all his professional life.
His music has been performed on commercial and national radio including BBC Radio 1, 2, 4 and 6music, the highlight for his mother being a 30 second clip of one song being broadcast on The Archers.
He has been a touring drummer for such artists as Graham Coxon, The Damned, Cardiacs and Charlotte Hatherley.
His skills also extend to the studio where he has produced three records of his own music under the name Stephen Evens
His most recent album “Employee Of The Month” is set to be released by Onomatopoeia Records in August with it’s follow up “Here Come The Lights” due for an early 2021 release.
Stephen is also the proprietor of Brixton Hill Studios in South London and lives in Surrey with his wife Caroline and a black Labrador called Rudy.
