After achieving a first class degree and a Masters in music, Mathew is currently pursuing a career as a composer and guitarist. He composes for music consultancy companies such as The Soundworks and Resource Sound as well as having been credited in short film documentary festivals.
He has played alongside acts such as Skunk Anansie and The Pogues and is the founding member of the band Shades Of Jade. He has always been a keen rugby player and an all-round sportsman.
